I am fortunate to have seen quite a bit of the world. Born on the Fiji Islands, I went to become a proud member of the Australian Defence Force. I left the army to move to the Netherlands, Europe for more then a decade. I studied the Dutch language at Utrecht University and once fluent went on to study Pedorthics at the Dutch Health Tech Academy. Not only did this study give me the theoretical background needed to be a good pedorthist, but it also taught me all the ins and outs working as a pedorthist. I ran daily consulting hours as a pedorthist, worked alongside GP's and physiotherapists in nursing homes, was part of multi disciplinary teams across major hospitals in the Netherlands alongside surgeons and other medical specialists, involved with the care for diabetics. Coming back to Australia, I want to share my knowledge and expertise I learned from being a pedorthist in the Netherlands, the Netherlands being at the forefront of pedorthics in the world. I am an outdoors person, love bush camping with my children, fishing from my dinghy and kicking a ball around.
